| The F-117 Nighthawk is used by pilots on the Lockheed Martin F117 Stealth fighter and features the F-117 Nighthawk engraved on the caseback. The F-117 series was the first in the Luminox Lockheed Martin Series. It originated when pilots from Edwards Air Force base contacted Luminox, saying that many of the pilots were wearing Luminox Navy Seals watches at the time because of the illumination system. The Air Force pilots wondered if Luminox would make a watch specifically for them. From these discussions the Luminox F117 was created and has evolved over the years to the current models below. | ||
