| The Bell & Ross Space 1 has long since been discontinued and has become quite sought after by collectors and pilots alike. Originally Bell & Ross produced the watch in a bead blasted steel finish, and a black PVD finish. This watch originally had the black PVD finish. While in use by its former owner, a Captain in the SAS, it saw action in Afghanistan and Iraq and although battle-proven, the case was refinished to a high polish because the black PVD finish had become so worn. Some of the black PVD finish can still be seen on the pushers, crown and parts of the caseback. The bracelet is brand new, but old stock and was originally bead-blasted, but because the watch had been finished to a high-polish, the bracelet was refinished to match the watch case. A great watch that is in excellent condition, keeps good time, and endured duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.
