Lang considers the Chronoswiss Chronoscope the perfection of his original idea of creating a watch with a regulator dial. This chronograph was named "watch of the year" in 2003 by Armbanduhren, a presitigious European watch journal. As in the Chronoswiss Regulateur, the unusual arrangement of its hands is inspired by the classic regulators at observatories and marine chronometers, used wherever it was essential to know the time with "to-the-second" precision.

• Automatic (self winding) 30 jewel Chronoswiss Caliber C.125, a substantially reconstructed Enicar 165 with a chrono center wheel with ball-bearing (a first in chronographs)
• The white silver-plated face has unusual hands that are heat treated to exhibit a deep burgundy color that Chronoswiss has dubbed "lie de vin" because the shade is like that of the dark sediment at the bottom of a bottle of fine old red wine.
